Maintenance Positions
Utilities Operator
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and servicing of two high-pressure gas-fired boilers including related systems and equipment. Work involves operation, servicing, and repair of high pressure steam boilers, pumps, motors, gas valves and controls, forced draft systems, safety devices, boiler controls, and recording devices. This position will coordinate plant steam demand with Plant Operations and monitor and test boiler make up water ensuring that water chemistry is within operating specifications. Operate and maintain the cooling water, reverse osmosis, fire water system and waste water treatment systems including periodic testing and analyses. Record test results, inspections, and operational data on various logs and reports. A Minnesota State First Class Engineer – Grade B License or greater is required.
Electrician
This position will be responsible for all plant low and high voltage services and equipment (excluding HV substation) including lighting, wiring and cabling, terminations, and conduit installation. Individuals will also be expected to install and maintain MCCs, motors, PLCs, and (VFD) drives. Individual must possess strong troubleshooting skills and hold a valid Minnesota State Class A Joumeyman Electrician’s license. A Masters license is desirable.
Instrumentation / Controls Technician
Individual will maintain, customize, and optimize the operation of the process automation control software for plant processes. This position will work with state-of-the-art Allen Bradley PLCs as well as process control valves. Applicant must possess strong troubleshooting skills and some mechanical skills.
